The ACS (American Chemical Society) Legacy Archives provide full-text search and direct access to all ACS journal issues that were published between 1879 and 1995.

For physics and related disciplines, the publications of the American Institute of Physics (AIP) are of central importance and are among the most frequently cited journals in the field.

Annual Reviews publishes exclusively 1x annually published anthologies of critical, scientific treatises, which represent the state of research in specific subject areas. The editorial board includes renowned scientists from Stanford, the University of California, Princeton and Harvard. The archive is updated annually by a year, so there is no gap between the backfile and ongoing licenses arises.

Within the DFG program Knowledge Exchange, BioOne is offered a national license for the BioOne Online Journals.
BioOne is a non-profit publishing house that provides a platform for life science journals. The titles are published mostly by smaller not-for-profit publishers and are largely available only in printed form outside of BioOne. There are two collections (BioOne 1, BioOne 2) included in the national license, which comprise a total of 166 items, 12 of which are open access titles. The period of BioOne national license goes from 1994 to 2011. Most magazines from 2000 are in full text available.

Offered the electronic backfile (up to 2005) of the publisher Blackwell Publishing (Wiley-Blackwell). Since this is a scale digitization project for several years, there are currently 242 items of publishing package with a broad professional spectrum.

Offered the archive data of 150 stocks from the program by Brill Academic Publishers. Areas of specialization are the humanities and social sciences, international law, and selected areas of the natural sciences.

CAJ contains full text in PDF format of Chinese academic journals from all areas in the original language of the years 1994 to 2011.

The package contains refereed journals primarily from economics, but also from politics and law, and individual STM journals. The offer includes the current and retrospective content of the title in full text.

Elsevier provides its journal archive in subject-specific collections. The National license includes a total of approximately 1.500 titles.

Emerald Fulltext Archive Database (EFAD) includes full-text articles from over 200 journals from the publisher Emerald respective publication start by 2014 inclusive. The range is supplemented by a few extras such as case studies, interviews and reviews. Most of the magazines comes from the field of economics, but in addition also natural science and engineering are represented.

The Oxford Journals Collection belongs to Oxford University Press, the world's largest university press titles and includes the following areas:

Archive of 10 magazines published in the period 1984 to 2008 at Trans Tech Publications and online publications available (total 1320 volumes with about 400,000 pages).
Particularly in the area of modern solid state and materials research provides the technical broad archive of his well-known and listed in the major databases magazines (such as material sciences forum, Defect and Diffusion Forum, Key Engineering Materials) represents a valuable platform for scientific literature.

The Springer ebook collection 'Chemistry and Materials Science' is a comprehensive collection of monographs, manuals and encyclopedias in English. With 624 titles from the years 2005-2008, it gives a very good insight into current research in chemistry and materials science.
