Please respect the following rules: 

• Eligible to reserve a carrel are members of the HTW. HTW students writing their thesis: please show your HTW StudentCard.
• The period of use is 4 weeks (max).
• The student fetching the key will have to sign for receiving it. 
• Students are not permitted to pass the keys on to third parties. 
• All food and drinks (with the exception of water in transparent bottles) as well as coats and bags are not permitted. Please do not put any sticky notes on the walls of the carrels!
• Only checked-out media may be stored in the carrels.
• Periodicals and items from the non-lending collection may not be locked in the carrels. The library staff can check the carrels for holdings not subject to loan and will remove them from the carrels if necessary.
• Users are asked to inform the library staff about any longer absence in advance (illness etc.).
• Please return the key in time (only to library staff!). Users will be charged by the HTW Berlin for replacement of lost or stolen keys.
• The HTW does not accept any responsibility for personal belongings stored in the carrels. 
• The library can exclude users from the use of the carrels when repeatedly violating the rules.
